Full Stack Developer

Job Description:

Reports to the Principal Architect.
You will contribute to products and features that help financial institutions provide loans/bank products to underserved market segments.
Work collaboratively with design and product to refine and develop new features for our platform and our end user experience.
Build systems in modern technologies including React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and write high-quality code with best practices in mind.
Have a voice in the direction of our products.
Learn about the factors that go into decisioning applicants
Work with all parts of the stack and learn new skills.
Attend daily stand ups, grooming sessions, and technical architecture development discussions to discuss requirements
Use/update Jira tickets and Confluence pages to document requirements and completed work
Contribute to iteration on internal team processes and norms.

Requirements

2+ years developing software using modern JavaScript frameworks OR 2+ years of experience with Java vs. 8 or higher programming
Experience working in an agile environment.
Full-stack technical background, with minimum one area of specialty.
Experience in one or more frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, Svelte).
Experience in frontend web fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, web performance, accessibility).
2+ years experience working in agile methodology
2+ years of Experience with GitHub, vs. control
Familiarity with one or more persistence technologies (SQL, NoSQL, Firebase).
FinTech background is a bonus.
Familiarity with AWS preferred.
Familiarity with CI/CD techniques and tooling (e.g. Jenkins, drone), automated testing and deployments, and other DevOps practices preferred.
Familiarity with JavaScript build tooling and frameworks preferred.
Familiarity with cross-origin communication preferred.
