.Job Description:
Build systems using modern technologies including React, TypeScript, Spring, and write high-quality code following best practices.
Contribute to products and features that help financial institutions provide loans/bank products to underserved market segments.
Work across the entire stack (React/TypeScript frontend and Java Spring backend) and gain new skills.
Work collaboratively with the team to refine and develop new features for our platform and enhance the end user experience.
Report directly to the Principal Architect.
Participate in shaping the direction of our products and features.
Attend daily stand-ups, refinement sessions, and technical architecture discussions to discuss requirements.
Use and update Jira tickets and Confluence pages to document requirements and completed work.
Learn about the factors involved in decisioning applicants.
Contribute to iterations on internal team processes and norms
Requirements
1+ years of experience developing software using modern JavaScript frameworks OR 1+ years of experience with Java Spring (2+ years preferred).
Full-stack technical background, with at least one area of specialty.
Experience with one or more frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, Svelte).
Proficiency in frontend web fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, web performance, accessibility).
Experience working in an agile environment.
Experience with GitHub and version control.
Familiarity with one or more persistence technologies (SQL, NoSQL, Firebase).
Preferred Skills/Knowledge
Background in FinTech is a bonus.
Familiarity with AWS.
Knowledge of CI/CD techniques and tooling (e.g., Jenkins, Drone), automated testing and deployments, and other DevOps practices.
Familiarity with JavaScript build tooling and frameworks.
